 10 Years in Full Colour

A decade ago, our SBS coming-of-age documentary film Love in Full Colour told the stories of 12 queer teenagers who moved audiences to laughter and to tears with their warmth, honesty, insightfulness and wit.

This year - in 2022 - we’re making a follow-up film: 10 Years in Full Colour.

Now in their 20s, the original participants who stole our hearts in Love in Full Colour offer yet another intimate glimpse into their lives.

Since we met them as teenagers, the country has changed profoundly – and so have they.

Throughout 2021-22, they reveal the heartwarming, surprising and in some cases, heartbreaking twists and turns their lives have taken over the past decade.

10 Years in Full Colour is part of The Full Colour Project, a unique, 10-yearly doco series which, for the first time in Australian cinema, will document the lives, loves and transformations of LGBTIQA+ folk as they live through and actively shape a remarkable time in history.
